We’re examining our commitment to equity and how that impacts our grantmaking program. We will begin strategic planning in the Fall and pausing the grant process will allow us the time and space to reflect on our work and decide how to further institutionalize our new mission and values in 2022 and beyond. In light of this, we’ve already approved our grant funding for the third and fourth quarters of this year and have temporarily paused our typical grantmaking process. This means that we will not be requiring grant applications from previously funded grantee partners who apply in those quarters.
While we are not accepting applications through our typical grant process, our commitment to racial equity remains, and we encourage nonprofits whose leaders are Black, Indigenous, or People of Color to reach out to us to discuss funding outside of the grant process here.
