Established in 1993 in Williamson County, CASA advocates for abused and neglected children within the juvenile court system. The goal of CASA is to see every child in a safe and permanent home. CASA advocates become the eyes and ears of court and help the judge determine the best interest of the children in the courtroom. The funds requested in the application will support part of the salary of the Advocate Supervisor. 85% (535 of 630) of children will receive permanency over the coming year. 90% (567 of 630) of children will see a reduction in the numbers and duration of childhood trauma as reflected in the ACEs evaluation.
