Building Lives

In 2007, Building Lives Foundation, Inc. (BLF) was formed by a group of Middle Tennessee business and community leaders, who recognized the severity of homelessness among Veterans in Nashville. The agency mission is to help homeless veterans and their families successfully transition to independent living in permanent housing. The funds requested in the application will support client drug testing and part of the salary of the on-site case manager. 95% (17 of 18) men will remain sober for 30 days. 75% will have one or less relapse in 12 months. 90% of participants will reduce two trauma-related symptoms within 12 months.
