Established in 2002, Christian Counseling Center of Cumberland County (C5) is a non-profit agency with the mission of “healing hearts and minds”. The agency accepts all in need of services without regard to faith or belief system. Clients are seen on a sliding scale fee for service. The funds requested in the application will support 100 hours of professional counseling services. Of the 112 clients attending three (3) or more sessions during the grant period, 60 (50%) will show improvement as measured by at least a five (5) point increase in their GAF score. Of the 72 clients attending at least six sessions, 62 (85%) will indicate improvement of the issues that brought them to counseling, using the same measurement methods.
