Doors of Hope seeks to heal the community by empowering women to break the cycle of addiction and incarceration through pre-release education and transition planning and comprehensive supportive housing programming for those re-entering society. The funds requested in the application will support the program supervisor and case manager salaries. Depression, as measured by the Becks Depression Inventory, will decrease an average of ten points for the 40 clients (50%) who remain for 90 days. Self-compassion, as measured by the Kristin Neff Self Compassion Scale, will increase an average of 20 points for the 40 clients (50%) who remain for 90 days.
