Founded in 1943, Family & Children’s Service (FCS) serves all people in crisis and transition by meeting them where they are, understanding their needs, and providing them with the resources they need. The mission of FCS is to connect individuals and families to hope, to healing, and to one another. The agency’s goals/outcomes for the year include:  1,200 or 80% of 1,500 individuals receiving counseling and support services through all FCS counseling programs will make progress on their identified goals in treatment. 18,000 or 90% of 20,000 callers to the Crisis Line will indicate improved functioning or resolution of the problem presented.
