Mercy began in 1999 as Mercy Children’s Clinic, serving the pediatric underserved throughout Williamson County. In 2012, Mercy acquired Grace Medical Clinic, added adults to its practice, became a Federally Qualified Health Center and re-branded itself as Mercy Community Healthcare. A diligent and highly qualified team of professionals in the care coordination team support Mercy’s medical and behavioral healthcare. The agency’s goals/outcomes for the year include: At least half of Mercy’s providers will receive suicide intervention training through the American Association of Suicidality. Serve more than 3,000 individuals through Mercy’s on-site pharmacy increasing patient compliance with their care plan which impacts their health. Complete the certification process for Patient Centered Medical Home status for Mercy Community Healthcare with a continued focus on the whole person.
