Healing for the Healer

Our community is filled with compassionate people who commit to caring for others,
while putting their own needs on the back-burner.

  • The Healing for the Healer retreats are a tremendous experience. We offer them to say “thank you” and to encourage you to take care of your own needs. These retreats provide renewal and an opportunity to learn how to practice self-care during busy times.
  • Participants engage in activities that foster relaxation, self-reflection, and rejuvenation. Activities can include: self-care planning,  quiet time, journaling, meditation, stress-relief exercises, and an exploration of needs-based communication.
  • They are open to nonprofit staff and employees of other service agencies including nurses, first responders, etc. in our service area.
  • Healing for the Healer retreats are free of charge and include a morning snack, beverages, and lunch. Unless otherwise indicated, they are held at The Trust’s offices at 2928 Sidco Dr. Nashville, TN, 37204.

Retreats occur on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

January – May 2019 dates are full. Fall and Winter 2019 dates will be posted in May and announced in our newsletter. You can register for our newsletter via the “Newsletter Signup” link at the bottom of this page.

Space is limited

Registration is on a first come, first served basis. In order to provide a variety of people the opportunity to participate, registrants may only attend one retreat per calendar year.  We often have a waiting list, so please provide a 24-hour notice of cancellation if you can’t attend.


You will receive a confirmation email within 2-3 business days from a staff member when your registration is confirmed. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you are not registered.
