Founded in 2005, the Child Advocacy Center for the 23rd Judicial District’s mission is to provide a child-friendly center where victims/alleged victims of severe sexual and physical child abuse and their non-offending caregivers can obtain comprehensive services from the CAC and referrals to community partners to aid in their recovery. The funds requested in the application will support salary expenses for therapists providing services to the child victims on-site at the Child Advocacy Center. 48 out of 60 clients (80%) will see a 50% reduction in symptoms (pre-occupation, sleep problems, avoidance, mood swings, etc.).
