Men of Valor

Since 1997, Men of Valor’s purpose has been to equip incarcerated men to re-enter society. Men of Valor’s approach rebuilds the men from the inside out, lowers the community’s recidivism rate, breaks the generational cycle of crime by reconciling men with their families, and increases community involvement in restorative justice through the participation of volunteers. The funds requested in the application will support counseling sessions for men who are recently released from prison. 40 of 40 (100%) of men will complete a psycho-social evaluation and assessment of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). 30 of 40 clients (75%) will show a statistically significant improvement.
