Mercy began in 1999 as Mercy Children’s Clinic, serving the underserved throughout Williamson County. In 2012, Mercy added adults to its practice, became an FQHC and re-branded itself as Mercy Community Healthcare. Mercy provides integrated healthcare services, placing priority on the whole person and their family needs. Mercy exists to reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing excellent healthcare to ALL and support to their families. The agency’s goals/outcomes for the year include: Increase percentage from 38.5% to 52% for patients 12 years of age and older screened for depression using appropriate standardized depression screening tool, and if positive, a follow-up plan will be documented. Increase percentage from 85% to 87.5%. for patients 5 to 64 years of age with a diagnosis of persistent asthma and who were appropriately ordered medication.
