Rocketown was founded in 1994 by Contemporary Christian Music Artist Michael W. Smith with a mission to offer hope to the next generation through Christ’s love. Rocketown’s approach to working with youth is holistic, with programs focused on engaging the mind, body, and spirit; nurturing the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual health of Middle Tennessee’s youth. The funds requested in the application will support certified counselors to provide individual/group counseling and a case manager. 36 out of 45 (80%) of youth served will report a 30% improvement in symptomatic distress, interpersonal well-being, and social role satisfaction. 52 of 65 (80%) youth served in group therapy sessions will report in 12 months that they have experienced improvements in at least two areas of the Group Session Rating Scale (GSRS).
