Sumner Child Advocacy Center received funds to support The Road to Healing. The agency’s outcomes include: 100% of the 26 children receiving TF-CBT show reduction in behavioral symptoms with 80% (20 children) of the 26 children receiving TF-CBT show a reduction of 50% or greater as measured by the UCLA PTSD index in the areas of avoidance, re-experiencing and increased arousal; and to have 90% (23 children) of the 26 children seen for TF-CBT meet a minimum of 75% of their goals set at the onset of therapy as measured using a subjective measurement tool unique to the Center.
