Incorporated as a 501(c)(3) on October 26, 1995, the Tennessee Justice Center (TJC) advocates on behalf of Tennesseans in need, in areas of public policy having the greatest impact on their health and welfare. The funds requested in the application will support travel, professional services (e.g. coaching, yoga classes, massage, retreat, spiritual direction, singing lessons), and support for staff development expenses to allow the executive director to take a sabbatical during 2018. A sabbatical would reduce the executive director’s burnout score to low and increase compassion satisfaction to high based on the ProQOL scoring.
