The Family Center

The Family Center’s mission is to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect by empowering parents to raise happy, healthy children. Founded by Exchange Clubs in 1985, The Family Center is a licensed and accredited Tennessee child abuse prevention agency with offices in Nashville and Murfreesboro. The agency’s goals/outcomes for the year include: 198 (90% of 220) parents will demonstrate increased understanding of how to nurture children’s emotional health through the stress of separation, divorce, or other life changes via a score of at least 77% on post-assessment. 297 (85% of 350) professionals completing trauma-informed training will indicate that the knowledge gained will help in their roles at work and interactions with clients/inmates, promoting healing and reducing risk of re-traumatization of clients/inmates, via post-training survey.
