The Family Center

Founded by Exchange Clubs in 1985, The Family Center is a licensed Tennessee child abuse prevention agency with offices in Nashville and Murfreesboro. The Family Center’s mission is to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect by empowering parents to raise healthy children so they can reach their highest potential. The Family Center offers a two-prong service approach through providing programs focused on parent education for vulnerable parents and providing community education and awareness. The funds requested in the application will support improving fiscal management and sustainability by training staff on advocacy/lobbying; developing specific advocacy fundraising plans; and improving messaging by hiring a communications professional to assist with crafting agency message about ACEs and trauma-informed organizational change.
