Caregiver Relief Program of Bedford County

Caregiver Relief Program provides free nursing support with Hope, Help, and Radical Loving Support to persons and Caregivers Affected by Alzheimer’s Disease. Since 1993 the Caregiver Relief Program has evolved into a vital, radical loving care ministry and free nursing support to families suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. The funds requested in the application will support the Family Respite Reimbursement Program. 12 out of 15 families (80%) served will report that their physical, emotional and spiritual health has improved with regular respite care. out of 15 families (86%) will report that the family is functioning better as unit, their own life is more satisfying, they have the ability to cope with stress and have a better attitude and understanding for the care recipient.
