Center of Hope

Established in 1989, Center of Hope is a refuge of peaceful existence providing innovative & compassionate direct advocacy, therapeutic counseling, and residential services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, stalking, & human trafficking. The funds requested in the application will support contract counselors through The Refuge Center for Counseling. 44 out of 55 (80%) clients will complete 75% of their treatment plan goals. 50 out of 55 (91%) clients will show improved mental health through at least a 10-point increase in the Global Assessment of Functioning Scale (GAF), reduction in symptoms, and/or impairment and clinical progress. 50 out of 55 (91%) clients will report they have learned new skills that have helped them cope with their situation, such as new breathing techniques, decrease in negative self-talk, and redirection when something triggers the client.
