Tennessee Health Care Campaign was incorporated in 1989 with a vision for all Tennesseans to have affordable, high-quality, and equitable access to health care. The agency’s mission is to advocate for policies and programs that improve the health and wellbeing of Tennesseans. Through advocacy, the agency seeks to improve health for Tennesseans by ensuring the value, quality, and equity of health care and coverage for Tennesseans by protecting and improving Medicaid, eliminating barriers to enrollment, and protecting them from discriminating practices in health care. THCC will create an informed and directed health care policy agenda through authentic engagement of communities and individuals by providing opportunities to learn about health care policies, be civically engaged, and hosting listening sessions.
